BIO:

Nicole DeBrocky-Fusfeld is a creative director and designer with more than 15 years of experience helping businesses and organizations figure out what they need, strengthen what is already working, and thoughtfully build from there.

A Philadelphia native and graduate of the University of the Arts, Nicole continued her design studies at the Basel School of Design in Switzerland before beginning her career in New York. Her experience spans global brands, creative agencies, cultural and educational institutions, nonprofits, and independent businesses, with work for clients including Hermès, Viacom, DVFriends, and The Woods Maine.

She launched her independent practice in 2018 and today works closely with clients across brand, print, digital, editorial, and physical experiences. Nicole isn't interested in changing something simply for the sake of making it new. She approaches each project by first understanding the business, the people behind it, and what is and isn't working, then helps determine what comes next.

Her background as an artist continues to shape the way she works as a designer. Photography, sculpture, materials, hands-on making, travel, and a curiosity about how things are actually built all find their way into her process.

When she isn't working, Nicole is usually traveling, making something, spending time with her wife and dog, or reminding everyone that she's originally from Philly. Go Birds.

Nicole partners with businesses and organizations that need a trusted creative lead, whether that's developing something new, evolving an existing brand, or solving the next challenge as a business grows.

Her work spans creative direction, brand development and evolution, print and editorial design, campaigns, products, signage, and other physical brand touchpoints. She is particularly drawn to hospitality, education, nonprofits, and businesses where an ongoing creative partnership can grow over time.

Projects often extend well beyond the design file.

Nicole works through the details with her clients, collaborates with vendors and creative partners, researches materials and production methods, and helps carry ideas from an early conversation through to something real.
