TRUE CURRENCY
TRUE CURRENCY is the first edition in Ilana’s TRUE STORY series.
In this collection, Ilana transforms one of America’s most recognizable symbols of wealth into a message of empowerment, compassion, and shared knowledge.
“In God We Trust” becomes “IN LOVE WE TRUST.”
“Independence Hall” becomes “INDEPENDENCE FOR ALL.”
The work reframes independence as something built through education, knowledge, and human connection, not something that can be bought.
Soft colors and a heart-shaped crochet lace border contrast with the traditional look of money and reflect Ilana’s core belief: knowledge is the true currency of independence.
When knowledge is shared with love and respect, individuals and communities become stronger, healthier, and more connected.
TRUE CURRENCY also marks Ilana’s emergence after years of creating privately, bringing her art, philosophy, and personal wisdom into the world.
